Art on the Corner features the work of twenty-four local artists in the nine oversize windows that wrap around the northeast corner of Broadway and 107th Street on the Upper West Side, where the Bloomingdale District meets Manhattan Valley.
The exhibition celebrates the many-faceted neighborhood that has sheltered us through a challenging year. The works reflect the vitality of our street life, the diversity of our residents, the natural beauty of our parks, and the visual interest of our streetscape and vernacular architecture. Viewers may recognize their neighbors and their own experiences in the images on display, and perhaps even perceive a familiar subject in a new way.
Come take a look, in person and online. The exhibition will run through September 6.
